So why did I order a trezor again

This is why Multi-sig needs to be the new standard.

The exploit in the video no longer works but was still pretty cool.

yeah, we need much better security standards for crypto, but redditors just seethe when you try to suggest 'better' methods
>just bee ur own bank
>dont trust exchanges, not ur keys not ur crapto
>just write the 12 words on a piece of paper lying around the house
all seem like bad solutions

I just saw the video yesterday. FREE THETA

old firmware

hardware wallets are a scam, defi insurance is the way to go

needed physical access to the device anyway

good thing it isn't a physical product that needs shipping to you then

You mean you can't generate new keys for the device AFTER it arrives?
There's just one set of private keys from the factory?

>((Insurance))

you can generate whatever you want, but if you're going to use it to sign transactions then a backdoored device doesnt care where you got your keys from, it can still covertly leak them

No one mentioned or cares about Reddit faggot

Why would you buy a safe that destroys all of it’s contents when you pass a phrase wrong a couple of times?

That was a cool video. I know you're trying to fud like a faggot OP but thanks anyway, was a good watch.

I think the best is to find a trusted app like blockbank and keep everything there.

At least you can stake as well!

buy a cheap laptop off of marketplace.
replace the harddrive if you are extra paranoid.
install linux.
install a software wallet.
write down the password/key on paper, put it in a bank locker or somewhere safe.
transfer you funds.
Don't use it for anything else.

Do your research and daily activities on your regular computer.
Problem solved.

I just use the EverWallet.

Take your link and everest off the exchanges! Use biometric security

Keeping crypto on exchanges is way more reddit than having your own keys

>use a hardware wallet
>Dog eats it
>2 million dollars shitted in the yard forever.

My email still gets spammed after the Ledger leak. At least the hardware is not compromised.
