Wrestlers main gimmick is……that he/she doesn’t lose

>Wrestlers main gimmick is……that he/she doesn’t lose

Why do writers think this is a good idea?

Sadly Goldberg is losing today so your whole post is kind of wrong

Jade's gimmick is she's a muscle mommy though

Doing it with this old, ESL will forever be the worst version of that gimmick.

Goldberg is one of the biggest draws in history

It's a good trope to introduce someone new.

As soon as it becomes a gimmick, you start limiting yourself and it becomes a problem.

Only time they got it right

It's supposed to give the person who breaks the streak a big rub. The bad thing about Goldberg's streak ending was that Kevin Nash was the last person in WCW that needed it.

Man she completely ruined her look with the clown green hair and the Seth Rollins-esque tacky clothes on purpose.

>It's supposed to give the person who breaks the streak a big rub.
No it’s not. This is smark delusion. Damn near every streak ended with an established name ending it

both of them can't wrestle so it would hard for them to get over with ability alone. They need the streak gimmick

>Yeah, I got an idea!

yes and that surely was a great idea

Because people want to see strong wrestlers

Goldberg lost because the nwo cheated, it’s not like it was a legitimate defeat. I don’t know why people harp on it so much

Because it sucked and didn't do anything for anyone. If they were going to end the streak it should have been the upset victory everyone was waiting to see.

Because at some point every match matters. There are a few ways to play it.

>Streak haver gets paranoid about losing it. Slowly turns heel doing everything they can to not lose
>Young up and comer challenges streak haver and wins immediately getting them over
>MJF type heel cheats to break the streak, gives face big motivation to get their win back
>Streak have is big babyface as most people are bandwagoners

Nash should have used a real gun to end Goldberg's streak.

why have no wrestlers went off script and just fuckin ended it live it the ring or offd someone on there way out? why did dreamer pussy out?

JR talked Dreamer into pussing out blame him

They stole it from mma, like I’m to believe Jon Jones and Khabib NEVER lose?? Fuckin bullshit

>Young up and comer challenges streak haver and wins immediately getting them over

List the times this has happened. Charlotte ended Asukas streak. Brock ended Takers. Nash Goldberg’s. Cena ended Rusevs and Umaga. Big Show was the first to beat Brock.

The truth is these streaks get out of control and can’t be ended by “up and comers” because that’s a commitment to booking them strong for the foreseeable future and nobody can do that, so the established name that they know is going to be in the mix ends it.

Ending streak is not an automatic “get over” card they way smarks think it is, which is why it’s basically never been used that way

It adds more tension to an arbitrary length title run.

>Goldberg is one of the most over wrestlers ever and biggest draws on TV during his undefeated steak
>retarded smark faggots think it's a bad idea

How do you know? The rest of your post is a long list of how it never actually happened.
