For parole revocations: Maybe 25% get out again
For parole: Maybe 25% get denied
For pardons: Almost 100% approved

The discrepancy is because, just to get in front of the board, you have to have been cream of the crop, especially for pardons.
For paroles/pardons, their minds are pretty much made up before they get in there.
For revocations, the inmates can really help or hinder their case, and in the vast majority the inmates hurt their case.

Has anyone ever chimped out on camera at the end of one of these hearings?
