There is almost no pollution, roads are great, healthcare is great, housing is great, and there is opportunity for everyone. Kanji are Chinese characters but in many if not most cases although the general meaning is the same the specific meaning and pronunciation are totally different and in a not insignificant proportion the meaning of the Kanji compared to the hanzi drifted a lot.
