The older I get the worse it gets and I know a lot of people suffer from mental issues in some way. I used to think its a rare disease but no. Its getting more and more common.
I suffer from derealisation/depersonalisation and its a proof that life is just simply not real.
It’s because women are all insane so men are forced to go along with the insanity or totally reject it and then they get ostracised which then leads to mental health issues.

Some of it's lack of discipline. Parents keep letting their kids do and say whatever they want - afraid of turning them into neurotics...and they just become narcissistic assholes.
Divorce rate is at an all time high. People can't commit to each other or are too quick to say things they can't take back, and their children suffer for it - often resulting in actual higher incidents of depression, anxiety...
Too many people also self-diagnose. They feel sad temporarily, but somehow believe they're clinically/chemically depressed because of something they read online. They think they're the wrong gender, even though they're just lonely and socially inept.. They think have attention deficit disorder, when they have no self-discipline. Doctors can't always tell the difference, and sometimes it's easier to just give them drugs and see what happens.
The food in your first world countries are processed and edited to the point they have little to no nutrients, then you have to add powdered vitamins, pump the animals with drugs and you are constantly consuming, consuming, consuming and seeking more liberty and freedom to exist without responsibility. You all act amorally because you abhor moral responsibility and that in turn leads to immoral behaviour. Sucks to be you. Also bad socialisation. Weak social networks, constant competition and backstabbing. No structure.

A lot of you don't touch actual grass and see nature, you live in concrete jungles, you suffer from heat stroke and chemicals being pumped out constantly.
Unironically this. I thought mental health issues were bullshit until I got super fucked up on a bunch of edibles and became paranoid for a few hours, now I have random panic attacks all the time. Shit sucks because I loved getting high, but now even one hit makes me anxious as fuck.

Psychologists and their prescription pads. Everybody needs therapy now....cuz the tv told them so.

TRE (Trauma release exercises) and/or drink your urine (urine therapy)
They were always prevalent. But, there were two factors:
> Mental illness was viewed negatively. Enough to put you into an asylum, which had horrid conditions. You’d be socially ostracised. The treatment of soldiers in WW1 is a classic example, having PTSD was seen as pure cowardice.
> If mental illness was viewed negatively, then people would mask their symptoms. It wasn’t spoken about, it wasn’t recorded.
View it like being left handed. When individuals weren’t forced to use their right, the number of left handed students shot up.

More screening and awareness. Not as stigmatized as the past. Not everything is just labeled “crazy.”
Zachary Hughes
>pic related urine therapy. Chick I was talking to with eating disorders and mental health issues cuz of it.
Do you smoke weed? Derealization and depersonalisation can occur when excessively consumed
Owen Jenkins
Honestly I think it's because the world is such a shit place now. Was it always this shit and I didn't notice because I was a kid or has it always been this fucking awful?

>drink your urine (urine therapy) Pure lunacy
Blake Hill
I agree. So many people are lactose intolerant and gluten intolerant. Autism is very common. When I was a kid, I don't think I ever knew anyone who had any of those illnesses, with only very few exceptions
