The past 5 years it’s been purging right leaning subs, but recently the ones left, primarily r/conservative and r/conspiracy. The conspiracy sub last year was super pro trump (very annoying) but mainly right leaning or centrist/ libertarian especially about vaccines. Now, not even the centrist point of view is upvoted, one person will point out that both parties want division then 50 people will comment that the democrats are good because they stand against the republicans fascism. The conservative sub is basically just “Muh enlightened centrism” and is full of spineless conservatives who don’t truly care about the direction the country is heading. They focus on roe v wade (Republicans purposefully losing) and equate it as the liberals being the good guys.
Despite all of us hating Reddit you can’t deny that it influences millions of people’s political perspectives, even though political shit on the front page is normally very biased or straight false. This is a pretty big blackpill for me.
