I'm a nutritionist studying to be a dietitian. The problem was introducing crisco, mayo and things using seed oils. Seed oils cause inflammation which is the primary way of dealer. Seed oils also allow dietary cholesterol to form plaque on arterial walls. So when you eat a burger with mayo, the mayo pulls the cholesterol from the meat and actually makes it stick to the walls of arteries in real time. It also pools the fat and extracts it into your fat cells because your liver becomes immediately dysfunctional when introduced to seed oils, for days after exposure even. This is why fat people feel so lazy or sick all the time, their organs are in pain and even fat cells become inflamed.

So coupling this with propaganda, lack of proper diet training for the world, ignored case studies and just so much corruption, people will continue to get fat. It's bad because once a person gets past a certain threshold it really does become harder to lose weight. Inflammation and hormonal imbalances can keep a fat man, woman or child struggling to lose fat and build muscles for years even with proper dieting and exercise. It's imperative that you avoid seed oils because they will literally kill you and make you fat before you can even react in time.

I can't give medical advice but this is what I did to lose 100 pounds. I would eat a small soup pot every day. If you are in this boat like I was you must eat once a day with a lot of dark green vegetables like dinosaur kale and broccoli. I added diced tomatoes with no salt added, onions, pretty much any low carb vegetable finely cut. I sometimes use black lentils. Next I let the soup simmer for twenty minutes. You can use any spice you want but I typically made curry or chili.

In a second bowl I used a tbsp of parmesan and added the soup once finished. And I would sometimes have two hard boiled eggs with it.

Three egg yolks a day will increase testosterone in men however egg whites also cause inflammation so only one egg white daily is fine.

Both women and men should consume a lot of dark leafy greens daily. This is what early humans ate. Meat should be kept down to around 4 ounces every few days and red meat 4 ounces per month. Living isn't supposed to be gorging yourself unless you're bodybuilding but what I did was drastic to recomp my fat cells into near nothingness.

Avocado oil, coconut oil and olive oil are still fine too

Crisco is hydrogenated, all the hydrogenated fats have literally killed millions if not 100s of millions, from heart disease

the book 'Pandora's Lab' did a whole chapter on the history of hydrogenated fats, not sure if it a big factor in obesity per se, but definitely is for heart disease
