Personally, I am overwhelmed. I was following the generative imagery scene for over a year now since the VQGAN days and the scope of progress being made is mindblowing.
It’s not going stop here. Music, video games, art, movies, books. Basically everything that can be digital will soon be able to be made entirely by AI. You will not know what is real, as in created by a human and what is not on the internet anymore. It will be so good humans will not be able to tell a difference.
And it will happen soon. The progress is accelerating. This is going to have bigger impact on humanity than anything we have experienced before, even the internet.
We are about to become digital gods. And who knows maybe real gods shortly after.
