Someone explain to me why the US and Europe aren't all in for Azerbaijan, there is nothing to win and everything to lose by siding with Armenia. Siding with Azerbaijan would: - require you to do nothing, literally, just pretend nothing is happening - be able to tell Turkey you're only turning a blind eye if they collaborate more against Russia - would cripple Russia's influence and power projection severely while it's busy with Ukraine - allow the EU to get cheap gas from the Azeris There are zero downsides, or am I missing something? I don't know much about these peoples and their culture so there are probably other factors I'm not aware of.

News from the fronts:
Belgorod Front - numerous shelling of military and civilian targets on the Russian border territory.
Oskol Front - no fresh data.
Seversky Donets Front - fighting continues north of Sviatogorsk, near Liman and in the forests of the river bend southwest of Kremenna.
Soledar-Bakhmut (Artemovsk) direction - it is claimed that yesterday Wagner managed to advance significantly in the vicinity of Bakhmut. I do not know how much this information corresponds to reality (perhaps it does, but the offensive "in the operational shadow" of large enemy strike groups overhanging from the flanks is, in my opinion, a pointless (if not worse) waste of forces).
The Donetsk Front - no change. Fighting in Marinka, two-thirds of the village is under the AFU, and attempts by the DNR forces to advance there have had no results for several weeks. The enemy continued to shell residential areas of Donetsk and Horlivka, as well as other settlements.
In the Dokuchaevsk direction, the enemy pelted the positions of the DNR Armed Forces with shells all day yesterday, but did not attack.
No information was received from the Zaporizhzhia front, except reports of the accumulation of enemy forces.
Position fighting continued on the Kherson Front. There was a search (battle reconnaissance) for small enemy forces in the direction of Davydov Brod.
In general: On all fronts the enemy is preparing to advance and pulling in additional forces. Personally, I cautiously assume probable: the main strike on the Zaporizhia front, auxiliary ones between Donetsk and Gorlovska, near Dokuchayevsk, on the Berislav direction of the Kherson front, as well as directly near Kherson. I do not know the timing of the offensive, but I assume that the AFU is unlikely to give our troops time to consolidate their positions and regroup in threatening directions.
