This is unironcally where blockchain tech could be really useful. Imagine an open source protocol for sharing content linked to the blockchain that works similar to torrents/seeding. You could build a decentralised version of any of the social media platforms on top of it and the only way they could block you would be at the network protocol level, which if you encrypted it would be very hard to.
