Russia occupies well over 15% of Ukraine and has for 8 years. Ukraine had a couple of counteroffensives, on their OWN territories. Anyone who thinks Ukraine has even a sliver of a chance at Crimea or Donetsk is retarded.

That would be as retarded as Russia's attempt. Demilitarised Ukrainian controlled temporary occupation? Yes, that might be plausible while other countries occupy and demilitarise other parts of Russia.
But if that land somehow did become Ukrainian that would make Ukraine a monopolist on almost all best agricultural land in the world. Which might (might!) make Ukraine a defacto controller of some of Africa. That would be curious.
But I don't see that happening. We already possess enough of such land to not worry about world hunger.
