The only thing I have EVER heard from a black person after committing a crime is a variation of "I didn't do it," and "let me go." Never, EVER have I heard "I did it," "I'm sorry," "God/please forgive me," "how is my victim?" or "I did it in self defense." Whites say all those things often, especially admitting it and knowing they've sinned, and begging for forgiveness.
