For the geopolitically challenged I'll give a tldr on the current state of the world and why everything seems to be going to shit.

> Ukraine had a large defense industry that supplied everything from raw materials to spare parts to the Russian industry and both industries are interdependent by Soviet design (every member of the soviet union specialized in one aspect of the supply chain and worked together).
> America since the 90s spotted this weakness in the Russian defense industry and since then started to work with certain sectors of the Ukrainian political world (specially jews who hate Russia i.e the Victoria Nuland clan and corrupt politicians). They also spotted the caucasus (dubbed the russian soft belly) as a major geopolitical axis
> Germany, using American influence and money in Ukraine, struck a preferential deal with the Ukrainian oligarchs bypassing Russia
> Russia struck back by threatening to cut off the gas they send to Germany since the cornerstone of the German industry is cheap energy provided by Russia and the entire EU is propped up on Germany.
> The US escalated by removing Yanukovich, the Russian leaning president of Ukraine through a color revolution known as the Maidan and starts.
> Turkey sensing an opportunity to make money uses their influence in Azerbaijan to attack Armenia and clear a corridor to Georgia and Northern Syria to Turkey.
> Northern Syria, the same part that is still under occupation by US forces.
> The problem is that Russia defeated the Israeli backed ISIS and threw a wrench in the whole scheme with Turkey.
> Turkey then proceeds to threaten to invade Syria to create a corridor in the north so they can pass the pipeline from Georgia and since Syria has military ties with Russia and Turkey is a NATO member this could very well start WW3
tldr
> ffw to the present day and it's clear that Europe will go into the shitter and a recession is unavoidable.
> Ukraine has no chance of defeating Russia despite their utter incompetence and catastrophic mistakes.
> A second front is now open with Azerbaijan. Iran will join the CTSO and counter the Azeris bc they are backed by Israel.
> Israel can't afford Iran to become too strong side by side with China and Russia so they are undermining Syria in favour of Turkey by attacking Syrian bases knowing full well that Russia can't focus on 3 fronts.
> this is the reason why the the number of Russian soldiers and material in Ukraine is so small, they are maintaining reserves for what could very well be a hot war.
> I'm not even factoring in Taiwan since I'm not very up to date with that part of the world but the WW3 is already on what remains to be seen is how intense it will be. For now it's still low intensity but things are heating up pretty fast.
t. my dad works at nintendo.
The balkans are also a major geopolitical axis that so far is largely untouched. I would expect some action if I were you. And this is as tldr as it gets what is happening is extremely complex and I tried to simplify it as much as possible.
interesting... nice to see some brains still in Brazil that Zika didn't shrink
Good thread keep it coming sir I'm reading

Bump for interest
The only thing I can add is that the greens is Europe pushing for deindustrialization and the shut down of your nuclear power plants are bought and paid for by the US and China. They might be on different sides of the equation but their interests converge in one thing. Europe must be down enough so that it isn't a competitor but strong enough that it's still a cash cow. The Americans want to sell to you their gas from Texas and the Mexican gulf that will be egregiously expensive bc American labor is expensive and the gas will have to be shipped across the Atlantic and the Turks, Israelis and Azerbajainas will supply around 15% of what the EU consumes through their pipeline also at an egregious price bc the insurance will be through the roof since the pipes go through a war zone and travel through 4 countries before they reach Greece.
So the Only hope for Europe is a populist revolution?
Will Britain be Ok?
Will the white population be ok?
As for Russia they now control pretty much the entire supply of rare earth materials and a gigantic chunk of the energy market. When the US govt stole Russian money that was deposided in american banks red flags in Saudi Arabia lit up like a christmas tree. They realized that they have too much money in the US. Since they can't afford to lose their biggest partner they applied to join BRICS together with Iran so if you add them with Russia they will control a large enough part of the energy sector that could very well crush the petrodollar in a sense making the US position in the middle east very complicated. Russia also controls most of the industrial noble gas production of the world (can't make semiconductors or chip without noble gasses like xenon and argon) and together with China (they own the uranium mines in Canada and Australia) and Kazahkstan control over 95% of the production of Uranium of the world.
Bumperino my jungle nigger bro, go on...
The best outcome for Europe right now is the fall of the EU. Without a supranational organization overruling local decisions, people like Orban can be elected and they will choose what's best for Europe and that is de-escalation with Russia and China. That is very unlikely to happen without a full blown crisis. If I had to bet, Italy will be the first major country to default followed by Germany that will prompt the EU into bailout mode and dolarization of their economy (the EU is offloading US bonds in exchange for US dollars making the FED print even more - the CPI numbers that were jsut realeased reflect this). A recession in Europe this next winter is inevitable and there's no way to tell if the rotten political infrastructure will support the weight of the European socialist state. This is also why Russia is dragging their feet with Ukraine. They have time on their side
I don't know enough about the bribongs other than they are the ones pushing for escalation with Russia. I'm still doing research on what their goals are but so far they seem the most unhinged of the bunch.
And that's it. We are living interesting times and I hope the thread offered some food for thought. I'll be here lurking in case anything interesting comes up.

I see you are an optimist. I don't see a recession, I see a depression! The rate at which European industry is going to shut down is going to take most Financial analyst off guard. So Maybe
>> That is very unlikely to happen without a full blown crisis
They are going to have theirs Crisis.
That's why I love being in a tropical paradise. It's always summer, South America is far more remote than Australia and we can have everything we need here.
Yeah I made a mistake I meant depression not recession. As for the industry, it's already closing. German thermoplastic and siderurgy already closed their doors and will reopen in China.
We will suffer a bit from oil prices but other than that nothing major will happen since Bolsonaro struck a deal with Russia for cheap diesel and fertilizers (we are prob the only country on earth right now that is going through 2 consecutive months of deflation).
