Telling me to forgive men like Judas Iscariot, the Pharisees and Pontius Pilate isn't just dumb, it's suicidally dumb, and I think that's the point. I believe the true purpose of Christianity is to make believers as tolerant of treachery, torment and death as Christ so they don't resist their enemies.
