Boys of high intelligence, short attention spans, and hyperactivity have another unique, seemingly paradoxical trait: hyperfocus. You can put those traits together and understand you could produce wise, learned, experienced men who understood much of the world. Of course this is feared.
If a caring father is present he likely possesses similar traits and can guide the child into productive outlets. ADHD diagnoses are far more prevalent in boys of single mothers.
Adderall is quite literally amphetamine, they give hard drugs to boys whose shitty single mothers want them to shut up and stay in their room while she swipes tinder. It numb them and depresses their natural way of discerning bullshit, discovering the world and learning. The sought-out dopamine kicks that come from truly stimulating the child mind's instead come from an amphetamine addiction. The addiction continues into adulthood or is replaced by other drugs, cessation causes depression and somnolence.
Many of us: >fought in the meme war >survived the COVID vaxx push
But how do we survive (((psychiatry)))? Sure, stimulants will work but I don't want to give my money to jews and burn my remaining dopamine receptors in 10 years.
This conflates intelligence with attention span and hyperactivity, which are two separate things. It's possible to be intelligent and have a short attention span, or to be intelligent and hyperactive, or to have a short attention span and be hyperactive, but those three things are not the same.
Furthermore, the argument conflates ADHD with amphetamine addiction, which are also two separate things. ADHD is a medical condition that can be treated with medication, while amphetamine addiction is a psychological condition that requires treatment.

>I got hooked on speed when I was 15 because a kike doctor gave me adderall because I couldn't sit down and concentrate in math class. My parents had no idea what it really was and let me have free reign with the pills. I couldn't help it. For 10 years I've been in stasis, no progress in my life. Almost destroyed me. However I finally quit (including other drugs) and it feels so good, no desire to go back. I think I'm almost back to "baseline." Feels good man.
>memeflag >namefagging >muh conflation Sure, not everyone who has ADHD is intelligent and vice versa but the correlation is very strong and I would hazard to guess even stronger on imageboards.

I used to hate tom cruise but now I'm starting to appreciate him and think maybe scientology isn't all that bad
scientology is literally a military intelligence rogue MKultra style spy ring that brainwashes you and turns you into a soulless automaton(if you're not just a paypig)

i was on adderall for 9 years. you build up a tolerance pretty quick then ur basically a speed addict. i finally quit it and feel much better overall, but i still have adhd. im running a hobby farm now and the short attention span is actually not bad for farming. there's always a million things that need ur attention on a farm so i can just bounce around doing stuff all day.
I was on ritlin back in the day. That shit is worthless for its intended purpose. It made me hate sunlight and stay recess in the library drawing and reading.
It didnt help me focus on shit i didnt want to do, just hyper focus on what i wanted yo do. I could read a whole book in one day back in 4th grade.
I seriously think the intent of prescribing that shit was to make white men speed addicts.
I wonder if fathers had enough time to parent their sons, maybe they would love and relate to them more. I remember that my father was always spoiling me and gave me less harsher punishments than my brothers. My father tossed me as a punishment that I hit my back in the wall, that was really unexpected for me when I was a child. I suspect that my father was autistic but never had the time to truly bond with his son that has similar autistic features to him in his life. Being an Apsie ruined our father-and-son relationship
Yeah I just stopped taking Ritalin lol. Wasn't difficult to do.

I finally got a diagnosis after leaving the military at age 28 and got a prescription. It's been very helpful in college for getting my shit together and I would unironically recommend it. It's a dopamine re-uptake inhibitor, so by having more in your system you don't feel as compelled to >addictively consume porn >stuff your face with food just because you're bored >doomscroll >play video games at the expense of homework It's not a silver bullet, but its good for curbing that fucking pathological procrastination. ADHD is actually negatively correlated with IQ. Interestingly though, the higher your IQ, the longer you will go without treatment because being wicked smart allows you to mask the symptoms
>30 year old welfare queen needs meth to not eat too much or touch his dick too much your life will end at the end of a rope you tied
Easton Anderson
it's negatively correlated exactly because high IQ adhd aren't diagnosed, which points to it not being correlated at all, just undiagnosed in high IQ
Robert Rodriguez
The hyperfocus, persistent procrastination until the last second, and "addictive personality" are all things I experience. Never been on medication and always wondered if I just had shitty executive function. I don't really care about something unless it's something I'm deeply interested/hyperfocused on. 25 yo, graduated HS and bachelor's early and could be considered highly successful for my age. I sometimes wish I wasn't that intelligent because I envy the cart pushers and grocery store cashier's due to how easy their life is. What would life be like if I had been put on meds?

>I envy the cart pushers and grocery store cashier's due to how easy their life is They also have a very hard ceiling for their earnings which trades your problems for a very different set of problems. Personally, I wouldn't switch places.
