What's you opinion anons regarding president Carter getting a briefing on UFOs from CIA. Supposedly he wept after getting this astonishing information from government officials. Do you believe the report or is there even more that we aren't being told. NGL, it is pretty bizarre and it reminds me of when Buzz Aldrin got a tour of Antarctica and he was freaked the hell out on what he saw and never would say what he actually saw.

Carter's known Christcukery was abused by the DoD/etc and was made to cry before - the CIA doing the same seems plausible.

During his first 'Continuity of Government' drills (aka what happens after a nuke strike) as President - he was appalled by the response times and basically gave a blank check to the DoD to improve response. He was said to be equally distraught because the response time would have killed millions.
Then after dumping all that money into ICBMs and bunkers - a DoD chaplain becomes his confidant and starts telling him that because he improved response to save lives - that infrastructure will be used to kill millions (even if he isn't president) and God will punish him.
So despite being one of the first Navy nuketechs (under Rickover) - he goes all anti-nuclear to save his soul and right into the hands of OPEC.

Cover up for military crimes and projects, and used to poison the well of any discussion about the sandnigger problem (including the origin of popular religions).

There's a strange parallel between Carter and Trump. The machine never forgave either of them for getting to the presidential chair as unapproved outsiders to the real power structure. They've both been relentlessly vilified ever since. Arguably Trump murdered considerably fewer foreigners, but pinning the worst of the Machine's actions on either of them probably makes no sense to begin with.

I think this concept has been played with a lot in the sci-fi genre. I certainly think religions were ‘created’ to pacify people. I was born into a devoutly religious family and have never once “heard god speak to me” or answer any prayers other than the really stupid ones like “keep my family safe” lol. I gave up on it after being a missionary for many years. It just finally hit me that it all felt so fabricated and artificial.
