It does indeed alter timelines with Big Bang. It's the extreme red shifted galaxies that are far too developed for their timeframes that change the timing of our assumptions. It's possible that we are not experiencing 'expansion' like we assumed, but that dark matter is expanding while the galaxies themselves are rather static in their local space.

It's still similar theory but so far that seems to be the best explanation i've seen.
