There are all these posts about drag queen story hour and by complaining about them it seems as though we are falling into their trap by playing their game. I was thinking why don't we help facilitate a more wholesome interaction between our elders and the youngsters? How happy it would make a lonely grandma in a nursing home to have little children to read to, or how nice it would be for a lonely old man to be able to share his stories with some teenagers. Just an idea I thought we could kick around. Also, it was the weirdest thing, when I googled "grandma reading to children" the images weren't all pozzed so I may be on to something.
