Should the US government tax sugars and fats? The multiple benefits including increased revenue, decreased mortality rates and a generally healthier population would outweigh any negative results.
Why isn't this happening?

Fat
>increased revenue
debatable
>decreased mortality rates
doesn't matter as it affects mostly 50+ / unproductives
>healthier population
less tax revenue from meds and medical services
He is an alcoholic

The food lobby would never allow it.

>sugars and fats

he's old for that shit, his heart would not survive it

No but they should tax you on your bodyfat % (by age) with separate brackets, starting at 0-18% being no tax then progressively more from there
No tax, eat more shit so you die quicker.
The world thanks you for this contribution.
Just tax fat people. Having to look at them is already an assault on my eyesight.
But Reece you are rather obese yourself.
Question: who pays for treatment of obesity related illnesses? Taxpayers? Then yes maybe you should tax sugars and unhealthy fats. But here's a better idea: don't tax sugars and unhealthy fats and let obesity stricken fat fucks pay out of pocket for their treatment... can't afford it? Then just die.
Why not have the govt get off it's ass and actually make sure the food sold to Americans is healthy and not HFCS and sawdust shaped like nuggets and corndogs? Why do.we let our govt export food for foreign money when we could instead use that surplus to drive costs down at home and allow poor people to purchase high quality nutritious foods instead of processed ground meats and plant based substitites? Let the other countries pay a premium for those products instead. Why do they need more money? Especially when the fat people are majority poor and won't pay anything anyways?
