Do you guys have any food specific to your region you enjoy?

I buttered some bread, put it on a hot skillet, sandwiched some sharp cheddar between the slices and grilled both sides. We call this a Worried Pete here in CaliWali (California for you outsiders) pic related

What’s your local dish?

BBQ. Guess my state and region.

I enjoy BURGERS. CHECK EM NIGGER

Le shecked

TexMex, specifically some sort of BBQ (protein) mixed with a recklessly large amount of carbs.
Interestingly, my area is rural with lots of cattle ranchers, but we don't eat much burgers.
I personally could eat brisket sandwiches everyday.

I want some fish, but alas, I am in the desert, and I haven't had the luxury of tasting fish in months.
You can buy a pound of ribeye for under $7, but fish like Salmon is well over $20 where I am at.

Yeah my favorite dish is called the word of God.

>Matthew 4:4 KJV
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Crawfish Atchafalaya

Feels good to have an actual culture.
Most of you will probably never understand.

disgusting

we chew sugarcane billets in north queensland and everyone not from here finds it weird that farmers let you yank a stork for free and look puzzled when your chewing sweet grass.

OP is lying, it's called a grilled cheese sandwich and it's for poor people who can't afford Subway.

the worried pete and putine are my favourite meals
is there anything better?

This is the type of guy who doesn't know about McChicken sauce
You can get 3 for free, but you wouldn't know that because you live in a bubble, you're not enjoying culinary experiences and meeting fellow foodies

Witnessed.

In America you can get a large pepperoni pizza for $5.00. We call this a "Hot Carl" here in CaliWali (California for you outsiders). The best thing too is that you don't even have to wait you just walk in and its always hot and ready to go at the counter.

Western prairie provinces are basically the Midwest USA. My husband enjoys the recipe called shipwreck. It's a mix of regular ground beef drained and cooked with canned tomatoes and spices all served over white rice. It's a variation of American goulash with rice instead of egg noodles. It's absolute goyslop however it sticks to your ribs and is easily scaled from bachelorhood to family and more.

Checked.

My favorite burger has a blue cheese/cream cheese spread on it with grilled onions on a buttered brioche bun. We call it a blue burger.

>My husband
I hope you aren't a dude.
Prairie folk here are not huge fans of the gays cooking goyslop for their boyfriend.
Rice is hyperglycemic btw.

I've had Texas bbq, Tennessee bbq, South Carolina bbq, and Kansas City bbq. They've all got their good points and bad, but the best is probably Texas.
