speedrunning in general is dying. ADGQ and SGDQ only panders to hardcore trannies now because they've alienated everyone else that had been there from the start. SRL has gone off the rails and openly allow non-speedrunning content on the page. The only big speedrunners left from several years ago that stream consistently are caleb, zoast, cheese, bigjon, and werster. Everyone else has either moved away from speedrunning completely or streams so irregularly it's a miracle they're even on. There are about 2-3 speedrun races per day, maybe 4-5 if you're lucky whereas before there used to be multiple going on at once. Right now there's a fucking vtuber reaction stream on the front page of SRL and SRL used to be the cornerstone of the community.
Trannies openly killed it and they don't even give a fuck about replacing it and instead keep it in a zombified state. Use SRL as a warning to what happens when you allow that shit in a community

A ton of people used to tun in part for the audience cam and the chat reactions. But now that the chat is an mega moderated and neutered hugbox and the audience cam is gone there is really no need to watch below par speedrunning by some retarded manchild in a dress. Ironically, at least for Any Forums the attraction has become watching the freakshow.

If I just want to watch a speedrun of a game i'm interested in I can find one easily on Youtube. Where does that leave GDQ when their only remaining attraction is outdone by any YT video?
