1 Bedroom Flat is $60K here (Moscow)
How much same housing cost in your city?
why does moscow still build these cmmunist blocks rather than something more appealing to human beings?
About $600,000. Expensive energy and insurance too.
About £700k for a 1 bedroom, 64sqm apartment
60k in what currency
because russians are very good with living close to each other. we have that hivemind that allow us to exist in narrow flats in enormous amounts while being very comfortable because we can always reach an agreements on every matter and live in peace in huge numbers
this cant house that many people but similar and much better buidlings also exist in more expensive locations
if they all have relatively easy access to amenities (grocery, shopping, greenspace) I don't strictly see a problem with the block structure
>$60K
>what currency
$60K nigga
like there's an $ sign right there
$60k to live in a second world shithole with a collapsing economy. Soon Putin will need to pay people to stay.
you can live close to each other without living in a building that has no character, without a balcony of your own
a lifeless building that's just meant to house as many people as possible is dehumanizing
>$99,000
>3 bed
>1 bath
>1,300 sqft
>yard 5200+ sqft
House for sale in my town, it's got a pretty comfy lower middle class feel.
Towns 96.1% white.
People shit on small towns, still feel like they are the best place to raise a family.
this
pretty much almost everything is available on the first floor of the buildings op posted, from post, to online shop delivery locations, supermarkets, alcohol stores, bars etc
Im not a big fan of this though, I don't like living in the outskirts of the city, perfer more central regions
>Soon Putin will need to pay people to stay.
He really won't. 90% of russians are located outside of moscow/spb, and have salary of less than 300 dollars a month. None of them have ever been outside the country, and most have never been outside their town. Even if everyone left moscow/spb, majority of population would remain and listen to what putin says.
depends on the city and kind of flat
for a big city a very nice 1br could be $250,000 and even more
for a small city a reasonable 1br could be $50,000
>Swedes consider this "appealing"
make sure to regulate your water gas intake and don't you dare raise youre heat above 19c, or you go to prison with other thirld worlders
About €200k for the shittiest part of the city where you get stabbed, robbed and raped by Balkanoids. Upward of €350 everywhere else. Easily over a million for a nice central area 2 bedroom.
Was an example of 1 bedroom apartments where people live close to each other. That is infinitely more appealing than those communist blocks OP posted. Those are student homes I posted.
It's very rare in the US to buy a one bedroom condo. Most one bedroom places are apartments for rent.
The few one bedroom places in my area range from about $70,000 in shitty neighborhoods to $350,000 in the nice parts of the downtown area.
Most companies in russia build shitholes on top of shitholes with only cash in mind, not style or design, or even basic layout for people. In SPB, murino and other is a hellish nightmare of tens of thousands of people living in one tiny area, with insane daily traffic every morning when everyones trying to go to work.
Here's hrushevka that was built around the same time in germany and russia pre wall falling. The same building has been remodeled in germany with aesthetics in mind, and in russia with... russia in mind.
commieblocks are fine but it should be 3 to 4 stories high. higher than that and they're an eyesore.
also must have lots of trees or greenery in them
sounds gay
150-300K I think
Vancouver, $1-2M
6x that. How much is a good salary there? What's the job?
how do people tolerate sharing a single bathroom in a house? are you supposed to check with everyone before you take a shower? if two people have to shit at the same time, does one just go outside like a dog? if i were getting a three bedroom house, i would consider two bathrooms a compromise, and would be hoping for 2.5.
A relative of mine recently purchased a flat in an upscale area in Stockholm for about $600k. It's 80 sqm I guess.
Meanwhile you can get a proper farm with acres upon acres of land for $100-200k if you drive away from the arab infested hellholes that are Swedish cities.
Also your pic is disingenuous. 60k (3.6 mil rub) in moscow does not buy an apartment in somewhere like that. You get stacked high rises next to each other that start at 5 mil in outskirts of moscow.
You’re goddamn right
This looks like a kindergarten for grownups.
you can look for yourself.
seems to be between 1.3 and 2.5 mill, the ones that don't say the price or say price on inquiry are overpriced and they are too embarrassed to say. remember this is advertised in australian monopoly money so you will have to adjust to compare.

Usually houses like that are more starter homes, sister bought a house like that same neighborhood. Sharing a bathroom isn't a big deal when it's just a newlywed couple, they saved up, built a new house in the country when they had kids.
its about the same in terms of appeal as OPs commieblocks. the shit you posted just reeks of campus architecture where everything makes you feel like youre in IKEA.
I just bought a $60k one bed for 50 in a decent suburb
What, no pictures?
Not sure how taxes, etc work over there. Once you buy it; do you pay annual fees of any kind? If so, how much per year?
500,000$ Cad in a town with less than 15,000 people.
no it doesn't
Sad a cartoon I guess the real pic looks slummy
We dont have blocks of flats in our area. Local council doesnt allow such horrendous living conditions. There are some larger 5-6 bedroom houses that get converted into an upstairs / downstairs flat scenario with 2-3 bedrooms but 1 bedroom housing pretty much doesnt exist where I live. The smallest, cheapest 2 bedroom 1up/1down split townhouse (about 65-70sqm) is about $225K in burger dollars
