There was a report by the FBI a few years ago and it found that if 5% (possibly even less) of the US population were to rebel, the US governments would be defeated with ease. This is largely due to the large number of people over a vast area inside the US places the rebels in such a position to do vital strikes that no foreign force could ever do.
Imagine just 5% of people sniping or ambushing police, in 1 day the US law enforcement would cease to exist. You could build explosive and destroy virtually every piece of major infrastructure in a single day.
The military is extremely poorly designed for asymmetrical warfare and would be unable to capture enough people, almost none.

I'm in my 30s. So maybe some anons still think there is some big war worth fighting where we "take it all back". There's not. When I was in my teens and early 20s I really hoped there was. I preached to anyone who would listen. After years of ridicule a lot of them reached out to me and asked how I knew what was going to happen before it happened. I explained that it has all been spelled out for us already. A lot of them are like OP and still expect some big battle.
