Outbreeding depression happens in nature and in animal husbandry. An example from nature - lets say you have two subspecies of fish that can reproduce and create sexually reproductive offspring. Subspecies A is a bottom feeder with jaws developed to fit into small cramped spaces such as under sticks or in holes in the mud. Subspecies B is a surface feeder and has wider jaws that are better at capturing plankton and other small creatures. If A and B somehow meet and breed, they create offspring with medium sized jaws that are less effective at capturing surface feeder prey and too large to fit into all the areas and crevices as a bottom feeder. The genetic line is weakened and you have a less effective subspecies that may die off because it can't predate like it should. The same rules of nature apply to humans. Various subspecies of humans should not breed with other genetically distant subspecies because outbreeding depression will absolutely fuck the future generations if it continues. You can see this with mixed race people having problems finding compatible bone marrow and organ transplants as well as having higher rates of genetic disorders and medical problems.

Think about dogs. We have all these unique specialized breeds with different strengths, weaknesses, aesthetics, and purposes.
