There is the theory that northern europeans are the descendents of those indoeuropean groups. A part of those original aryans migrated to northern europe and stayed there. Kurds nowadays are mostly sunni muslims, with small groups of christians and yazidis (especially in iraq). They were conservative (just like other middle eastern ethnicities like arabs or turks), but due to the rise of the PKK a large part of them turned secular.
Most kurds look like pic related. Some are darker, and some lighter. There are a lot of kurds with light skin and green eyes, and some are even blonde (but those are a minority)
