It's going to be worse this election. Prevoting officials told people to not close their ballots so they can be manipulated in advance of the vote count. According to my calculations you only need to overturn 6000-9000 votes for M/KD/SD and the left wins yet again.

High school teacher here and I just want too say that most of the immigrant kids are heavily right wing and unironically support SD, they even like that they are "racist".

I applied for vote counting in the NL and the last municipal elections I partook in counting. We were with 7, some boomers, one turbo-autist, a few normal guys and 2 leftists (This is a very leftist city and they were fuming over every trightwing vote). It was a pretty decent system, where you counted in pairs,
checked each other’s work and had to match billets with voter cards (these are named). We had to recount 3 times because we missed one billet, but it remained missing. The only time where fuckery would be possible is when the box is brought to the archives (everything is kept for 2 years for recounts), but it is locked, so that seems unlikely. My trust in the system has improved since I became part of it, and only if the random placement of individuals would lead to a situation where all would want to cheat could it really be manipulated. I wonder about the Swedish system.

My boomer parents who have lived in Stockholm their entire adult life, and voted for S during that time, are voting SD now. As are my other relatives.
Some of them still hold lefty views, but I think they, and many other boomers, are beginning to understand the gravity of the situation we're in.
