it was i funny i can still remember that we celebrated a friend's birthday together and laughed at the stupid faces on the TV. Every time you saw the burning buildings or the plane you had to drink. by the time the buildings collapsed everyone was already drunk and no one cared. we then went to the inn and somehow we made stupid jokes about airlines.

I laughed my ass off when I was reading "Can life prevail" and Linkola goes into a rant about how 9/11 was based and that it happened to some of the worst people on the planet who deserved it. It does make sense within the context of deep ecology of course, but still, incredibly spicy and funny for what is essentially an ecology book. I can imagine the reactions of the average "green" faggots getting to that point in the book.
