My beet patch did superb again this year, going to be a fucking shitload of canning in my near future. They are alright pickled, but I will just can the majority of them as is. If you want them sweeter than they are naturally "Harvard Beets" are pretty good on a bed of white rice, it's basically just a sauce somewhat like sweet and sour sauce and I add some zucchini to it that was canned in pineapple juice, it's basically a mock/faux pineapple and it's close enough and gives me something to do with the ridiculous amounts of zukes I get. Anyway, thanks for reading my blog frens.

unripe fruit and under developed vegetables are picked early and then pickled/canned. In order for them to not taste like shit, hfcs is added. industrial grade organic goyslop is no better than its processed counter parts.
