Oldest objects from antiquity

Why do modern political leaders always try to utilize them for their own purposes?

Does OPs post have something to do with based boy Vlad?

That is pretty fuckin Rad

Big of real.

people shot holes in it over time, it was one of the highest points in Rome for over 1500 years, you can see them if you zoom in

caesar's ashes long since washed out because of this but little chinkers remained when they took it down in the 1500s and replaced the top of the obelisk

OP is a fag

What’s it called?

You might think we don't know exactly how Caesar looked but check this carved gemstone out, it's Caesar, wearing a little crown, but it's a carved gemstone. It's considered one of the most precious and well preserved portraits of antiquity. Done from life by one of the most famous gem carvers of antiquity as well.

That's pretty based. This, is Caesar.

* this is one gemstone with different layers, which the artist has carved into just enough to give the proper features in full 3D effect

then the little tiny gemstone caesar was given a crown, and if you zoom in, you can see one of the gems in the crown is indeed a tiny little carved gem with the same 3d effect the main portrait has

look on it in awe, this art is now extinct

No I'm just being a fag

globa

That's quite the thing to ponder
