Ukraine is armed by the US and most of Europe. That includes things like up-to-date satellite imaging and the latest in drones and artillery. They've been training the Ukies since the Donbass war started years ago. Moreover, they are getting tons of recruits and "volunteers" from the west that include current and former soldiers.
The downside of this is Ukraine is still undertrained despite a full mobilization. Even the latest successful offensive is costly, but not costly enough that it truly affects their goals. Unless Russia actually mobilizes themselves to match Ukraine and strengthens its economic position and allies, it's going to go badly for them.

It doesn't look like anything major will happen unless Ukraine does more attacks within Russia. Russia, for the most part, has tried it's best not to unnecessarily kill innocent people. Putin started the war out with the intention of it being quick, thinking Ukraine would surrender and become a puppet state. What they didn't know was that Israel and the United States have already turned Ukraine into their own puppet state. So with Russia moving slowly and Ukraine trying to get by like nothing is happening and with the literal Nazis giving their lives for globohomo you can bet it's going to last as long as possible.

Frontlines have barely changed since April. Russia controls east of the Dnipier and Ukraine controls west. Each side will take control of a few villages and towns and claim that they've collapsed the enemy's entire front while the other side says the villages were unimportant anyway. In that regard it's stalemated with the only major happenings still being Russia building the land bridge to Crimea and seizing Kherson.
Economically, Russia is winning decisively. Europe is plunging into an energy crisis and the US has depleted 1/3 of our oil reserves already. NATO has overspent on weapons shipments which haven't yielded a single major city being retaken.
Overall, Russia and BRICS are winning. That said, they are doing so through attrition and the world is headed into something that will make WW1 look like a walk in the park.
