Basically if they play it right they can have the best of both worlds, liberals unhappy with Trudeau can move over to CPC and not feel bad, traditionalists can move over to the PPC and argue for their people.

If they play it smart like actual politicians they can appear to be at odds with other on certain topics, deflect criticism from each other and share enough seats to form a coalition. So long as they don't step on each others toes when it comes to candidates they can win this easy.

Trudeau was elected in 2015 on the promise of changing it to proportional representation. He got a majority so had nothing stopping him from doing it, but then immediately reneged on the promise (like in the first month) because he could never get another majority with PR.

"Oh well we didn't want this bill that lead to Chinese executions in the streets by the Albertan Freikorps, but we're in a coalition and we had to agree to it to push through the extra gibs for trans and natives. But we did argue for amendments that mean it was only for mainland and fresh off the boat Chinese"

PP is fairly based on firearms and finances and has publically called out inflation as being done by "coin clippers," but he's still super kiked on immigration. It's a win but not a major won. Until someone stops the 6-digit yearly migration insanity, Canada is still fucked regardless of economic policy.

Pierre aligns with Max way more than the other leaders did, I don't know what this exactly means or how it's going to play out. For example, he was one of the few conservatives to support the trucker convoy or at least want to hear their grievances instead of declaring them nazis like all the other politicians did.

Mad Max needs to pack it in. He was relevant and wanted when Tool and Scheer were running the CPC into the ground and clamoring harder than Trudeau himself to lock up the unvaccinated. Now the CPC has a young, intelligent, charismatic leader who isn’t a complete RINO and can and very likely will win and become the next Prime Minister.
