Facial plastic surgery on a normal person is comparatively simple to reconstructive surgery on someone with a disfigurement. Very few surgeons can completely disguise facial injuries, for example.
Now take the fact that we can't even disguise an injury on a person who already had all the parts of a face. And add the complications of creating a fascimile of an organ from scratch. That is what "bottom" surgery is. And it's results are exactly as you'd expect, crude, ugly and non-functional. It really doesn't matter how much you pretty up the face, if the sexual organs are an active detriment to the host's life, then the pursuit of "reassignment surgery" is a failure. We are DECADES away from making something that doesn't need lifelong maintenance. More before it looks remotely natural. And we need to invent an entirely new field of medicine in order to make them functional.
What we do to these people today, with the promises of "curing" them, will one day be looked upon as cruel and callous.
