Someone leaked Russian's own numbers last week and it was about 45 000.

There is footage indicating the Russians took significant losses in the first weeks of the offensive. However the lack of it since May indicates the war is very one-sided in attrition in Russia's favour since then.

A lot of people died as a result, and the Soviet Union went to incredible lengths to cover it all up, collecting, and destroying nearly every single piece of footage taken that day.

To this day, all the pictures and video footage shot across the entire country on May Day following Chernobyl are unaccounted for, only one person's personal photo albums from that day still exist, and last i checked it was a government official who towed the party line, and took part in May Day with his family, think he committed suicide some time not long after.

We've had dozens of manufactured leaks. Even if we combine RF and LDPR losses as Russian losses they are not close to 50k. Ukrainian soldiers killed might not have gone over 100k yet either.
