But there is an issue with that. In a normal society, crime rate should logically drop to 0. If 3%-5% of the people are criminals and you incarcerate them, then the crime rate should be 0. If you look at the numbers you don't see that. What you see is a steady rate of crime, with some dips and peaks here and there, but it's mostly consistent. How the fuck is that possible? It's possible because prisons are a meme. A country doesn't actually have the resources to imprison all the criminals. A country uses the threat of prison to scare people into committing less crime. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. When it doesn't work you have a problem. There simply aren't enough resources to build enough prisons to cover the number of criminals in a society and sure as fuck not enough resources to feed them, keep them warm, keep them healthy, etc. If this problem could be solved, it would immediately solve 90% of society's problems, but this problem can't be solved easily without turning to genocide which I don't agree with. The government is not perfect and making a policy that says "prison time = execution" is retarded as fuck. It would kill many innocent people. Exile also doesn't work cause there's no more places on this planet to exile people to. Even if exile was a solution, someone has to create the criteria for exile. You could end up exiled for a petty crime because some politician decided it was a good idea at that time. Shit's fucked and complicated, bros.
