any Ukrainian victory in this war will be pyrrhic since Russia will resolve to radical strategies to eliminate the threat. and no, i dont mean nukes. they can accomplish everything they can with nukes using conventional weapons.
for example. if the the russian easten front collapses the russians will not just return to their border, they will probably hit the dams across the Dnieper and effectively cut ukraine into two pieces. that way all Ukrainian forces east of the river will be cut off from the west.
every Ukrainian tactical victory on the battlefield will result in a strategic defeat.
