The symptoms for psychopathic personality disorders are superficial charm, pathological lying, grandiosity, manipulative, callousness, lack of remorse, shallow affect, irresponsibility, impulsivity, need for stimulation, lack of realistic goals, parasitic lifestyle, early behavioral problems, poor behavioral control and juvenile delinquency. I do lie with a straight face, but it depends on what it is. Everything else I can relate 100% on. Sociopathy, which actually is in the DSM under Antisocial Personality Disorder, only has 7 criteria that needs to be met, and it's very specific (violation of social norms, deceitfulness, impulsivity, irritability or aggression, disregard for safety, irresponsibility and lack of remorse). Psychopathy is a spectrum disorder similar to autism, in that it is graded out according to a PCL-R test. Nobody can be diagnosed with psychopathy (in fact, it doesn't even show up in the DSM) but it is used and studied in forensic settings. It's more in the realms of psychology than psychiatry. There are four facets and two factors it is graded upon: facet 1: interpersonal, facet 2: affective, facet 3: social deviance and facet 4: antisocial.
