LAS VEGAS — Five days after investigative reporter Jeff German was violently killed outside his Las Vegas home, police executed search warrants at the home of an elected official who'd been the subject of German's reporting that uncovered claims of bullying and retaliation.
Officers descended on Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles' two-story home in western Las Vegas around 7 a.m. Wednesday, searching the nearly 3,000-square-foot property for more than six hours before a red GMC Yukon Denali was towed away.
The GMC, which had been parked in Telles' driveway as officers worked, matches the description of a vehicle police say is tied to German's killing.

A politician is a person of interest in the murder of a reporter. So yes, it is newsworthy and political. Sorry if a Blacked or tranny thread died for this.
I'm just saying user isn't stumbling onto anything, every article I've read about this plainly states the guy was the person of interest because >1 - his truck was seen at the location >2 - he was already a person of interest as soon as they found the corpse using the classic "does this guy have any enemies" lines of reasoning

> Iirc, this was the only reporter still working on the Vegas shooting I had a look at this based on your post and German seemed like one of the last investigative journalists. R.I.P.
