>Syrian Hassan Dabagh, also known as "Abu al-Husain", is a well-known Islamist who preaches in a mosque in Leipzig, East Germany.
>Now the Islamic preacher has made controversial remarks about the German capital Berlin, calling it a "basically Arab city". According to the German newspaper Bild, Dabagh said Berlin was "no different from Damascus or Cairo" and that "Arabs already outnumber ethnic Germans".
>"When I walk trough Berlin, I even don't need to speak German anymore. Arabic is sufficient. You see where I am getting at? We must give Berlin a new name. It should be named 'Arab-Islamic State of Berlin', when you ask me!", Dabagh said according to Bild.
>Millions of people of Arab origin live in the German capital Berlin. Since the refugee crisis in 2015, which brought many Syrians to Germany, the number of people of Arab origin has almost doubled, especially in the district of Neukölln, whose main street, Sonnenallee, has almost only Arab shops.
