The Soviets infiltrated Western Politics all throughout the Cold War. Towards the end of the CW they installed the Green Movement which spawned Green Parties all over Western Democracies, especially in Europe.
These parties are designed to push the Climate Change hoax which in turn is designed to deindustrialize the West and force it to become economically dependent on an industrialized East (think Communist China). Meanwhile the Social Democrats (also in league with Communists but seemingly more moderate) ensure energy dependence on Russia.
The result is precisely what we have now: The Green movement is in government in countries like Germany or Austria. Their job is to ruin Germany’s economy and cause deindustrialization, ensuring Germany can never be a threat to either Russia or China ever again. The same is going on in the US, except there the Democratic Party has been completely subverted since decades and has adopted the exact policies of some of the most radical left wing movements in Europe. Think: Pro mass immigration, pro Climate Change Agenda and so on.
What we are seeing now is that the countries with the least CO2 emissions are being forced to deindustrialize (Austria for example produces below 1% of global CO2 emissions yet has a Green movement in power that is forcing deindustrialization) while Russia and China are the worst polluters out there. The same is happening in the US.
