Has hardworking Mike Rowe got a point? Can we solve the labor shortage if we convince youngsters to stop being afraid of a hard days' work?
>He says the transaction between employer and employee has changed >Most recently, I think work has become the enemy. Job satisfaction is now a thing that relies entirely upon the job and not upon the person. All of these things have combined to make work fundamentally unattractive. foxnews.com/media/mike-rowe-labor-shortage-biden-economy-work-become-enemy
this faggot is looking more and more like dick cheney all the time
Levi Price
Zoomer here. Civilization can collapse before I wageslave.
Oliver Cook
By crashing the service economy with no survivors. All those useless eaters who refuse to go to the office will all be working on factory floors in five years
Jeremiah Wilson
>y. Job satisfaction is now a thing that relies entirely upon the job and not upon the person. All of these things have combined to make work fundamentally unattractive. Is this his way of saying most jobs in the USA are garbage?
David Jenkins
When work doesn't pay why would people do it? When it costs more to travel to work then why wouldn't people just mooch off?
>All those useless eaters who refuse to go to the office will all be working on factory floors in five years In sweatshops maybe. US doesn't have enough factories to employ even half the workforce.
Leo Davis
imagine being a man and not having a beard lol. lmao!
Nathaniel Myers
beard not need when you have a strong chin, chinlet.
Juan Bennett
>Work has become the 'enemy Low wages and corporations hiring illegal migrants with no consequences have become the enemy
Joseph Peterson
It's what they work towards that is disconcerting. No sane man wants to live in trannyworld.

If a young man is to do a backbreaking job and dedicate years to learning the trade, he has to enjoy a decent purchasing power and a level of respect. a lot of apprenticeship positions just hire people short term as heavy lifting labour to be laid off after a year or two before they need to pay them higher wages.
That and people are just more sick at a genetic level and can't handle the volume of inhumane work anymore and have much lower tolerance for bullshit.
Samuel Stewart
>US doesn't have enough factories to employ even half the workforce. half the workforce should already be employed by the kitchen
Oliver Baker
Good. Let the IRS starve.
Mason Gonzalez
Tell me what I have to look forward to by working. >Woman? Nope she'll divorce me 80% chance. >House? Already inherited 2 >Retirement? Oh yay my body is almost dead time to relax. I'm glad I spent my healthy years slaving >Nation? Woo darkies get free shit and my people get treated like garbage!!
Colton Scott
Have tptb considered that people are simply making money doing things other than wageslaving? When e-girls can make money selling pics of their feet, and perpetually online guys can make money boosting people in video games, why the fuck are they gonna work at McDonald's? Haven't luminaries always predicted that digital technology would inevitably change our relationship with labor?
Kevin Roberts
This guys got a great grift. >work 1 week at random jobs >2 weeks and you've got an entire shows worth >take 11 months off >"dude, just work for 50 years then die you lazy fuck"
Brayden Edwards
kek, beardlet
Zachary Lopez
Pretty much this, this dude used to be entertaining but now he's just annoying. He really believes he knows what it's like to work those jobs because he did it for one day, two tops, while having the real worker there essentially babysitting him. He's peak deluded Boomer. You know because when he bitches about "young people" not wanting to work "hard jobs" he never brings up these jobs have ridiculous expectations for hiring, including shit like working up to 80 hours a week, the threat of termination at any time for any reason, low pay because "you're getting training", and many other conditions that just prevent all but the most moronic/worst off to seek out those jobs.
>Russia amplifies antiwork/anticapitalism/socialism/leftist ideology >Gullible retarded Americans latch onto the messaging and champion the ideologies >Russia amplified right-wing reactionary factions >Gullible retarded Americans latch on and start champion those causes >Civil war in America simple as. Americans are so fucking stupid.
Evan Smith
They'll spend hours and hours talking about work and never once mention the pay. It's all appealing to vague bullshit feelings of pride and accomplishment.
That's how you know it's horseshit. Of a job was paying $30/hr or more anyone would hop on it.
Ryder Barnes
Tell us more, classically trained Opera singer and actor pretending to be a blue collar worker
Bentley Edwards
Lel an actor telling people to buck up and work hard for the Juden
Oliver Hill
This. I am not going to wage cuck in order to live the same lifestyle as some spic who just strolled across the boarder. I am a NEET and there is no way Im going back.
Josiah Myers
Fuck Kike Rowe. Fuck his pledge. Take the NEET pledge. Become a parasite and bleed dry the system that wants you dead.
My brother did apprenticeship to be electrician and does very well for himself now after 12 years working in it. He now just tells the younger guys what to do and doesn't do any physical work himself. He does a lot better than the rest of my family who all went to college studying Science or Business degrees.
Caleb Harris
Mike rowe is a corporate stooge trying to keep afloat the American Dream of hard work so your boss can get rich.
We are all now trying to escape labor, as labor does not pay enough to get by on anymore. If we cant even have a little luxury for all the hard work we do day in and day out, for an excessive amount of hours every week, then fuck it. We're living in a poverty of life enjoyment. I would rather quit and live in economic poverty and at least have some time to relax.
