They could probably take some of those islands but without mobilization of the populace there is nearly zero chance of Turkey being able to conquer Greece with conventional warfare

The gap in Western Thrace is small. Which means not much beyond Komotini until daddy Biden forces a peace between Turkey ans Greece.

Thrace is obviously the only passage by land. it's a narrow swap. almost the entirety of the greek ground forces focuses on that one spot. it's impossible to take over unless bulgaria joines turkey for some reason. the islands are seemingly an easy target for the turks but they are also easier to carpet bomb. we have all the airforce, subs and naval force we need for an Aegean war with turkey. what good is turkey's 80 million population in such a war?

The truth is, in a theoretical war the front will not move beyond Komotini on the land border. In the Aegean, the smaller islands like Kastellorizo are screwed while bigger islands like Rhodos, Chios are safe.

That is of course until NATO forces an end to the conflict. The results will work out for Turkey if they can keep the occupation of the small shitstain rocks near Anatolia. Greece will bitch about it like they do about Cyprus but it would be frozen conflict.
