Little known fact: Despite Scythians mostly being known as ancient horse archers who mostly dominanted eastern Europe. Most don't know Scythian proper culture originated in Arzhan culture of Altai. Who then continued in Pazyryk culture. While we don't have Arzhan genetic samples, Pazyryk's 85% of DNA derived from Altai_MLBA(Pre Proto Turkic speakers) so Arzhan culture was probably even more Altai_MLBA in fact. Scythians of Europe probably adopted that from central asian Sakas who adopted it from Altaians.
