100% go rural. Rural infrastructure is better than ever so if you can work from home you can be in higher income areas where people are more self-sufficient and have skills.
I bought a homestead this year and have already learned so much, and have met so many people with specialized skills to learn from. If there was a breakdown of society this year, we would have a hard time but I’m confident we would make it. If it happens in a couple years then I think we would be fine.
