All of this is 100% true, truer today than ever. 'Crackpot alley' is now the HQ of the modern day right. It contains many people. Some of them are the nutcases and grifters orbiting Trump. Lindell, Giuliani, Greene, Bannon, all these types do nothing but seem insane to everyone else. Between this, the Qcumbers, the Putin contingent, megachurch Israel worshippers and the shameless snake oil salesmen, the GOP has alienated everyone non insane, especially young people. The last point is important as the young generation is the most populous it has ever been and has more of voting age than ever before. Lindsey Graham (before he started pretending to like Trump like the pathetic coward he is) said 'if Trump is elected we'll lose and we'll deserve it'.

Not many people are going to vote Dem because Joe Biden talks about identity politics even if he'll still do it anyway. You can see polls of what matters to most voters and it's predictable things like the economy, inflation, gas and so forth.
What doesn't help stop the 'woke' agenda is when you have the alternative becoming an increasingly cringeworthy group like the magacult is today that no one wants to be associated with. Right now you have an extremely weak President and yet the Republicans are doing everything in their power to blow their chances in the midterms. All the GOP has to do is present itself as the rational choice and it can do that by talking about those issues that normal people care about. Clearly this is asking a lot.

That isn't what most people think is 'sane'. And the destruction of the family unit isn't specifically a democrat policy either, it has been getting worse for a multitude of reasons for decades. The destruction of the family unit would be a something the right can start talking about but that would involve difficult discussions about the property market and colleges and wages which the GOP is never ever going to have these days.
