It does seem fucked that guys like him exist. But I pity him, never challenged, never living. For me, I accept the system is on average slightly better than worse; I came from abject poverty, I know how it feels to go to bed hungry as a child and I know mental and physical abuse as a child by my mother. But I still worked hard and have lived a life I am proud of; I own a small farm, I have no debt and I have a good submissive fiancee.
The system absolutely could be better, and before the federal reserve act and the 1886 scotus ruling on corporate personhood I believe it was. Still not perfect even then, but better still. At the end of the day, we are fast tracking down the drain of corruption and tyranny, but for what its worth, the general template is one where decent folk who work hard can get ahead. The same cannot be said about communism or even democratic socialism. The USA still has the best chance for someone to move across different wealth classes.
