>Haixia Liu is a Chinese artist who was born in 1962. Haixia Liu's work has been offered at auctions in China multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 2.5 million USD to 75.8 million USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Asian art critics have dubbed him the Van Gogh of Asia, and some Chinese critics have even argued he has surpassed Van Gogh.
Haixia Liu is a Chinese artist who was born in 1962...
you already posted this today.
The difference is I look at the one on the left and feel nothing. Congrats on being better.
CHANKS ARE FUCKING CRASS DEMONS.... YEAH BUT NO ONE KNOWS THE PAINTING ON THE LEFT AND THE ONE ON THE RIGHT IS MORE VALUABLE AND WAY MORE FAMOUS.......
soulless chink painting
And it's a piece of shit crust made famous by some kike flipping cheap crap paintings.
1. Art is subjective
2. Why didn't she come up with her own painting?
3. I am replying to b8 and will sage
money laundering
Why are chinks incapable of inventing new things? Why do they have to steal literally EVERYTHING? What a useless leech people.
These anti china spam threads are literally US glowtard bots
I want them to stop crapping up the place
CCP funding Chinese artists as cultural propaganda, much like the CIA did in the 1950s/60s.
um... dumb chinks dont understand what Van Gogh was doing. Making it more realistic was literally the wrong way, chong.
I reported it, for all the good it will do. I report all twitter/reddit screencap threads.
fuck china, but this thread is gay
Left is soulless, and looks like poorly done realism. Right is soulful and captures the essence, and feel of being there on that street
how chinese are you on a scale of 1 to full-blown yellow nigger?
the more wealthy and decadent a society gets, the more artists leeching off of the system it has. only a fattened, complacent society with more money than necessary would be able to support a part of the population that does jack shit except make nice drawings.
i'm saying this as an artist: art is not a legitimate career and we need to stop treating it as anything more than a hobby.
This is a bit like when Picasso gets criticized. People are not aware that both Picasso and Van Gogh were perfectly capable of photorealism and various other techniques. They intentionally chose to paint the way they did.
On the left it has no feeling. The right has a warped, depressive, dreamlike feeling.
lol what a retard
another Chinese copy of a European. Jesus christ these people have no self awareness. Just bug people
>2. Why didn't she come up with her own painting?
She's chink. They only copy. Never create.
Pretty retarded. I mean if you want to go by technical skill alone, then just look at any of the hyper realistic artists we have nowadays. This is just more evidence of how the Chinese do not have any creativity in them. Why copy Van Gogh? Usually artists that produce original works get immortalized. And by original, I mean they bring something to the world that hasn't existed before. Afterwards we just get a bunch of artists copying each other or slightly making edits to make it their own. Then every generation or so we get a new "esper" in the art world.
>this post is extremely low quality and the chink painting on the left is soulless compared to the depression & emotions pored into van goghs
piece.
Why can chinks only create soulless copies and not OC art?
Meh. I strongly prefer her version over Van Gogh's one.
He's just famous because he had some "new and cool" painting style. It's hipsterism from 150 years ago.
indeed, Picasso was painting shit like this when he was just 14 years old
left looks like he perfectly copied a photo. van gogh didn't have camera to compare.
van gogh simple look is filled with soul and sadness.
So this guy's work is being recognised as good and is selling for millions and people are still bitching? If they think its worth more than van gogh then they should offer to buy Liu's works at a price higher than van gogh, they only have themselves to blame.
this
“It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.” -Pablo Picasso
The one on the right makes me feel nostalgic. It's a bit like a liminal space.
The one on the left, on the other hand, makes me feel nothing, see
>Van Gogh
Chinks can only copy. You've not seen a Van Gogh unless the paint almost pokes you in the eye. The technique used heavily dabbed paint resulting in a 3d texture that was part of the effect.
Its literally why he got immortalized because he had a "new and cool" painting style. You are allowed to appreciate copy cats though.
>person copies X and does it better
so an unoriginal talentless hack
>surpasses Van Gogh in intellectual theft
>fentanyl in the pigment
>1pbtid
>chinks doing the only thing they can, copying others
