Was this the grossest mis-match in military history?
I was watching about it a bit this morning. To call it a military operation is almost a complete misnomer. A regional power (at the time) totally flattened by 35 nations, including nearly every global power in 5 days. Mid-late secondhand soviet era gear against the latest modern military hardware, and a non-understated swarm of aircraft. It was essentially glorified weapons and tactics testing. I’d almost be embarrassed to claim to be a veteran of it if I was one. Wow, you slaughtered a bunch of retreating conscripts from range or the sky. Congrats.

Every major power in the world ganged up and fought China and splits their major port and cities between each other. Looking at the statistics yes it seems one sided but it was like any other war.
