My father was religious, and raised us to be also. A Being is responsible for life, that is very easy to see because of what it is, nature and the beauty of the earth. Nature is clear about that, the problem, or question is who he is. Every race was given a way to worship their creator, the European people found a God who worked well for us for 2 thousand years. My father's concern was that in just the last 200 years Jews have wormed their way into our religion, even to the point of working on translating parts of the Bible to suit their needs. They were then able to convince leaders that the Bible really is about the Jew and not about Europeans; we are only secondary along with all other “gentiles”. Reinecker: In training we even had Sunday services for those of us who were inclined to go, and the town priest would give blessings. Some men were not believers and wanted nothing to do with it. It was so obvious that it dwindled as the main focus of our religion, and more and more lost sight of it. Here we are today, the Jews are now the main people of a Bible that the Europeans created and used its teachings as a compass for thousands of years. During the National Socialist time you either believed it was a Jewish book and wanted nothing to do with it, or you understood it was ours all along and that there is a case of purposeful misidentification that happened. Some remained indifferent. More and more people have lost this idea, and the churches have all been taken over by young indoctrinated men who would think it crazy to say that the Jew has no more a right to the Bible than a piece of coal would. I believe it explains why so many of my comrades were pagan or non religious. They came to believe the Bible had no attachment to them and that it was a foreign book with foreign ideas. So I wanted to share that with you as you asked before about religion. That is what made him a great leader; he treated everyone with respect and kindness. I remember him to be a hard worker, but he also enjoyed vacations and getting away. On the surface he seemed anti-religious but the more I worked with him the more I understood, he was only against religion because the Jew had infiltrated and twisted meanings of God’s word.
They were being called God’s chosen, and they put pressure on our churches to agree, teaching that anything a Jew did wrong was somehow ok to God, so we should turn a blind eye also. This is an example of what he wanted to use the SS to fix, to turn our people back to their roots and away from false teachings of the church. I am a devout Christian and understood that in no way was the SS against religion, we stood against the devils children using our faith against us, to destroy us.
