I heard there were some ~30,000 Ukrainian troops in the area. If they really did take 3k dead trying to attack the Russian positions and assuming they took 3 or 4 times that many wounded. The Ukrainians may have lost up to half their strength in the area.
Can't Ukrops moved reserves from Odessa when they saw their attack getting cum blasted and the Russians have to fix bridges and rearm before they go back to pushing.
