Insect populations dropping - implications?

I saw a bat the other day, but it's nothing like what it was 10 years ago. Used to be 6 a night, now it's once every other month.

I live in a village and this year almost no mosquitos. I am not complaining.

Cell towers disorientate the birds so their migration is fucked and they kill off insects.
